Yeah, 2 of our friends preordered at waldenbooks and were waiting in line. richard went to walmart and walked in and out, and went back to waldenbooks to find them still waiting. Not only was there no line at walmart, but the price was cheaper also. Needless to say, there was supposedly (dunno how much he's exaggerating, heeh) a mass exodus from waldenbooks when that became public knowledge. :D

aw, but this way you didn't get to stay up all night reading it. (i know at least two ppl who were planning on doing just that.) me, i'm planning on waiting until tom and then borrowing it. or maybe later, since i've got the last of the taltos series here.

I bought it at Wal-Mart about 1:00 Saturday morning. Then I put off reading it until Saturday night, but I was up 'til 8 this morning reading it.

Yeah, made a lot of sense for me to trek out in the middle of the night for it, when I didn't start reading it until later. Figures, eh?

The local Borders Express (nee Waldenbooks) in the local mall has plenty of copies of HP6 to go around when I walked by last night so I guess it's still pretty easy to get a copy (except for at the one Barnes and Noble in the area).

Of course, this is all moot anyway as I've yet to get through HP4! :-)
